All Refunds Have Been Issued

Great news! I overestimated the amount of refunds there were by about 700. I had counted The Adventurer tier, which is a digital-only tier. Because of this, I managed to finish processing all refunds today.

If you have not received your refund yet, first check your email. There were about 30 refunds I couldn’t process because of outdated backer credit cards on Kickstarter. Unfortunately, Kickstarter can only refund back to the original payment method. So if your card is expired or canceled, I will have to process your refund through Paypal. I have sent a message through Kickstarter to all those affected by this, so if you did not receive one, this does not apply to you.

If you did not receive your refund or the Kickstarter email mentioned above, your payment processor may just be slow to process the refund. Please allow 10 days for the refund to process. If you do not see the refund in your account by 08/20, contact me, and I will check what’s going on with it.

If you were affected by this whole refund debacle, you should have received an email from [email protected] that contains discount links to purchase all the books in the Lewd Dungeon Adventures series (minus Fore the Play) at-cost. As an apology, for the remainder of this month, I am allowing backers affected by the refunds to purchase as many books as they want of all the books in the series except for Fore the Play at at-cost pricing. If you don’t remember what was in your original order, you can check in Backerkit.

You MUST order through the links in the email to get the discount. If you order only the books that were in your original Kickstarter order, it should come out to the same amount as your refund (not including shipping and taxes).

If you were affected by the refunds but did not receive the email with the discount codes, please message me, and I will re-send the email to you.

I want to apologize again to everyone affected by this. I know it’s been a big ol’ pain in the ass for all of us. You guys have been amazingly patient and understanding. I seriously could not have asked for a better group of backers. I truly mean that.

Big Problem with Physical Book Orders *IMPORTANT*

Hey guys! In a very bad turn of events, I completely misunderstood the capabilities of DriveThruRPG. I had thought that I could send free complimentary copies of the premium softcover paperbacks, which I would pay the at-cost price of on my end, and that you guys would only have to pay for shipping. But I have been informed that that’s not how it works. DriveThruRPG cannot discount books beyond at-cost and still allow customers to pay for their own shipping.

This is bad, as it means I cannot send the paperbacks to DriveThruRPG accounts for free. Mind you, this is completely on me for misunderstanding their back-end processes, and I apologize for the trouble this causes.

The only way I can remedy this is to refund everyone who purchased the premium softcover editions their at-cost value. This has to be done through Kickstarter. It cannot be done through DriveThruRPG and have the price applied to shipping instead.

When you receive your order email from DriveThruRPG, it will include both the at-cost price for each book plus shipping costs. The plan is to send a refund for the at-cost amount on Kickstarter so that you can apply that money to your DriveThruRPG order.

To make matters worse, I cannot mass refund on Kickstarter. Every refund has to be handled individually, which means I will be processing over 2,000 refunds manually. I estimate that this will take about 2 weeks.

If you do not want to wait until then to order your books, I will be sending out the complimentary codes (at-cost price plus shipping) shortly. You can choose to move forward with your purchase now or wait until you receive your refund.

I will post another update when all refunds have been processed. You should receive your DriveThruRPG email by tomorrow morning.

I will be busy all day tomorrow and will be traveling on Sunday, so response to any customer support emails or comments will be slow until Monday.

I want to greatly apologize to everyone affected by this, as it’s a huge pain in the ass for all involved and never should have happened.

Hey guys! Happy Friday! I've got great news! Despite all my fretting, the print proof copies did come in on time--early, in fact--and they came out perfect. That means that we're delivering...*drum roll* today. 

We will be slowly rolling out deliveries within the next hour. You will likely be getting several emails from Backerkit as digital assets are delivered to your Backerkit account. To better organize the DriveThruRPG stuff, I will be delivering the paperbacks in batches based on tier level. So if you don't get your DriveThruRPG email right away, don't panic.

How Delivery of Physical Books Will Work

You will be receiving one or possibly multiple emails from DriveThruRPG. These emails will place the premium softcover editions of the books in your cart for a price of $0.00. If anything in your cart shows a price of more than that, it is wrong. Email DriveThruRPG customer support, and they will sort it out for you. Please note that they are currently at GenCon, so response times may be slow.

If you ordered multiples of the same book, you will be getting multiple emails from DriveThruRPG. Do not pay for shipping until I have posted the next Kickstarter update, which will announce that all deliveries have been sent out. Otherwise, you may get double-charged for shipping if not all items are in your cart when you place your order.

Other Important Stuff

I will be processing orders throughout the next several hours. Once all orders have been processed, I will post another Kickstarter update letting you know that it's done. Only after the next Kickstarter update will you truly know if you received all the items for your order.

Mimic Attack Notebooks are also in the process of being shipped. I am unsure if the supplier will be sending out email notifications about this, but I assume that they will. 

While I am fulfilling orders, I will not be answering support requests. This is so that I can get everything out to everyone as quickly as possible. Delivery Update

Hey guys. Just giving you your monthly update. Normally, this would be a production update, but we are currently in the last phase of preparing to deliver…which is only being held up by DriveThruRPG at this point.

I have ordered print proofs of the books that did not turn out so well, namely Price of the Dragon and Disappearances in Riverhelm. As I’ve mentioned before, the DriveThruRPG print-proofing process is as slow as molasses. Predicting how long it will take them to print and ship a book has proven to be a bit challenging. Disappearances in Riverhelm ended up getting stuck during approval for printing, and I had to email DriveThruRPG to move it along. To make matters worse, the DriveThruRPG staff is traveling to GenCon tomorrow, and the proofs haven’t shipped yet, despite me placing the order a week ago, so that will potentially delay things even further. They were actually pretty quick the last time I placed an order, so I had high hopes that this one would go the same way, but it was not to be.

With all that said, I am going to push the delivery date back to August 31st, which is what my original estimate was. My plan is still to deliver before then, but I don’t want to keep giving out dates that I can’t be sure about anymore. I will post another update on the day of delivery.

I am currently finalizing everything with the Mimic Attack Notebooks, so those should be shipping soon. I will also post an update when those ship.

Locking Addresses Tomorrow PLUS Delivery Delay

First, you guys with the Mimic Attack Notebook in your order should know that I will be locking addresses tomorrow. This is your last chance to update your address on Backerkit.

For those with paperbacks in your order, you will input your address in DriveThruRPG whenever we are ready to deliver paperbacks. That said, make sure you have an account on DriveThruRPG BEFORE we deliver. If you don't, there's a high probability you will not get an email from them about your product delivery.

In bad news, the print proof of Price of the Dragon did not come back all well and good. Several of the illustrations were blurry, which means it will need to be fixed and resubmitted. That means the delivery date of the Kickstarter will be pushed back to a tentative August 7th, pending the next printing turns out correct. Fingers crossed that the next printing turns out better.
